Black Career Women celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2002 and has as its continuing objective, the career advancement of women, particularly black women. Our organization is comprised of career-concerned women at every organizational level. Our women hold positions of influence in the professions, in corporate America, in education and government and in social service agencies. Aspiring women utilize BCW to enhance skills, to network and to gain valuable support from experienced professionals. In its 25 year history, BCW has reached over 10,000 women through programs, memberships, organizational affiliations and sister networks. 

Our web site, launched in 1997, has allowed BCW to expand our reach to working women around the globe. We are found on leading search engines among the top five listings related to black career women on the world-wide web. We average over 120 unique site visitors per day and provide opportunities for job search assistance, professional visibility, career guidance and encouragement to hundreds of women. 

Our programs attract a diverse following, particularly through our national forum, Can We Talk? Advertisers benefit from the increasingly diverse visitors to BCW's website who are highly regarded consumers.
