Linda Spradley Dunn, President and Chief Executive Officer of Idamar Marketing and Communications, LLC is a nationally recognized marketing expert and an innovative, award-winning sales executive. Idamar consist of 4 divisions; Odyssey Couluer (travel club and magazine), Odyssey Network (business retreat), Spa Odyssey (spa products and services) and Barometer (research).

Linda Spradley Dunn recognizes the needs, desires and contributions of a uniquely diverse group, affluent multicultural women. She has devised a service that appeals to these women as well as to companies who want to have direct access to them. Her company conducts business retreats, publishes a magazine and has become nationally known for her research on the obstacles facing this group. She often consults with Fortune 500 companies on these issues and has been featured in Working Women Magazine, Essence Magazine, The Asian Times, O Magazine, etc. Her clients include Prudential Financial, Verizon Communications, Nordstrom, Mercedes Benz USA, Kraft Foods and many others. In May of 2001, Idamar was named the third fastest growing company in the inner city by INC Magazine

Prior to founding Idamar, Linda worked at the IBM Corporation where she created and directed the company’s first managed care business unit. She was responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with the health care industry throughout the Northeast. After achieving a 400% increase in revenue growth and being named in 1994, “Business Unit Executive of the Year”. Linda went on to direct IBM’s health industry marketing and sales support strategy for all of North America.

A graduate of Harvard University/IBM Business Unit Executive Program and George Washington University, Linda is on the boards of directors of The United Way of Essex County, The New Jersey Performing Arts Women’s Board and the Essex County College Foundation Board. She is a past winner of the National Black Achievers Award, 40 under 40 and Newark’s Female Entrepreneur of the Year. She is widely recognized for her work with the United Way, where she served as the first African American and Female Chair of its board of directors. She is married to Dr. Van Howard Dunn and they reside in Englewood New Jersey.
